Faubion Cheer

Let's Go Lions!

Announcements

Over the Summer, cheerleaders need to practice the Camp Routines. In particular, cheerleaders MUST memorize the Camp Cheer, Offense chant, Defense chant, Chant 1, and Chant 2 in order to be eligible to cheer in the first football game. Practice makes progress! Aim to condition and practice for at least 20 minutes every day.

What is cheer about?

Coaches

Assistant Coach - Beth Freed: efreed@mckinneyisd.net

Cheerleaders at Faubion perform at football games, basketball games, pep rallies, a Christmas Show and a Spring Show along with other opportunities. We are leaders at school and in the community. We are held to high standards and we work hard every day to be our best. We have a blast and get to know each other with team building activities and big sis/little sis activities. Most of all, WE LIVE KIND!

Grades are based on participation. Cheerleaders must come dressed out daily unless they have a doctors note.

Demerits are given for not wearing practice uniforms, missing uniform pieces at performances, wearing jewelry, tardies, behavior. Merits and conditioning will happen on Fridays to work off demerits.
